Best Sony S Tablet Leather Cases

Here are the best Sony S tablet leather cases that our review team has filtered from tens of items sold in the market.

RooCase Dual-View Leather Folio Case Stand

This is one of the top rated Sony S tablet cases on Amazon. Roocase Dual-view case is made from high quality, genuine leather and the inside is micro-suede which gives an effect similar to cushion to protect the tablet against scratches from inside too.

We liked the easy rotation from landscape to portrait and vice versa when you want to use the case as a stand. There are multiple grooves to put the tablet for optimized viewing or typing position.

There are actually two parts for the case, and the inner sleeve is detachable. The flap is magnetic.

Obviously all ports and functions of the Sony tablet are fully accessible.

CaseCrown Bold: Sony Tablet S Case

Although the case is made from synthetic leather, it feels very nice to touch and look. A very well imitation of genuine leather here. CaseCrown Bold follows the standard case stand design. There is micro-lining inside to protect scratches. Using velcro flap, the tablet is secured inside. The flap closure is magnetic here as in Roocase model.

The case also doubles as a stand but you can use it only in landscape (horizontal) orientation. There are two modes of it. One is to view videos on the tablet and the other one is to type on the virtual keyboard of Sony S.

There is an even a cutout for rear camera. We are rarely using the camera on our tablets but anyway it is a plus to mention.

Sony Targets #2 Position in Tablet Market in 2012

In my opinion, Sony intentionally didn’t bring any tablet to CES 2011. They have apparently bigger plans than now. A late senior executive speech confirms it.

On Thursday, Sony Computer Division Head Kunimasa Suzuki has talked in a honest way that Apple is the king of tablets for now but there is no second position after them. Therefore, Sony is real ambitious to grab #2 position in 2012.

Tablet market is being already very crowded led by Motorola, Samsung, Acer, RIM tablets; Sony has to bring something strikingly innovative and very powerful in hardware and software aspects to the tablet market to achieve this position.

So, a 3D tablet or even better is in the feature list?
